Okay Steph recommended this video to me and I found this cool version of the video on youtube. It connects it to the Lion King. You know how The Chronicles of Narnia is like telling the story of Jesus and how he died for our sins? Well the way this person explained it, the Lion King kinda does the same thing. This is how they described it:
Mufasa: Jesus, died for our sins
Simba and Other Lions: Followers of God
Wildabeast: (Sorry if it is spelled wrong) Sins
Scar and Hyenas: Non-believers
So that really helped me relate it to Jesus and stuff.

Okay so that's it! :)

PS Remember that tomorrow's Ash Wednesday! It's not a holy day of obligation, but it's kinda important. Well tomorrow I'll explain what Ash Wednesday is and what it signifies so check out the post tomorrow.

I love The Lion King!!! Almost as much as I love The Wizard of Oz!! and yeah I totally get the religious aspect of the movie I'm sure that's what Walt Disney was going for. What would the monkey be?
Yeah I get the references you're trying to make about the movie, but I prefer not to think of it that way, cuz it's not my religion. :)
I think that the monkey might be more of a symbol, representing the knowledge of Jesus to the people. Like, how popular Jesus became, how well known. That's just a guess, though, cause I can't think of any people the monkey could represent!
Did you guys know how the Chronicles of Narnia relate to Jesus too?
