It's Saturday!

It's Saturday and I've changed the whole Saturday thing a long time ago. It's really supposed to be definitions of words and stuff. As you probably already know, this Sunday is the Second Sunday in Ordinary Time. I was reading my Sunday Missal and these are some of the words in it!

eucharist: The true Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, who is really and substantially present under the appearances of bread and wine, in order to offer himself in the sacrifice of the Mass and to be received as spiritual food in Holy Communion.

reverence: The virtue that inclines a person to show honor and respect for persons who possess some dignity.

redemption: The salvation of humanity by Jesus Christ.

It's Friday!

Heyy It's Friday and I'm going to share what well this Sunday is going to be! This Sunday is the Second Sunday in Ordinary Time and that might sound kinda boring but I mean it's kinda a new year type thing! My Sunday Missal is a great tool for this blog cause it has like a preview type thing of the Sunday's gospel reading. Here ya go...

Lamb of God-familia words form our liturgy-but what would people think of when John called Jesus the Lamb of God?

You guys know about the passover lamb, whose blood used to be smeared over the doors of the Hebrews to protect them. The blood of this lamb delivered them from the death of their first-borns. So John may of meant that Jesus was the one trus sacrifice that delivers us from death.

Do you guys think so? I really want to know what you guys think about that---especially the people that don't believe in Jesus. What do you guys really think?

Maybe you just heard about a big surprise party that's coming up. Maybe your parents told you that someone you know is sick or hurt. Important news can change the way you think about something or someone.
Samuel lived in the temple of the Lord, but he had never heard God calling before. Fortunately, Eli was there to help, and Samuel learned to change the way he thought about God and to listen to the new mission God had for him.

Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.

It's Monday!

Lately, you guys (mostly applied to Steph and Becca) have been really good about emailing me questions to use on Mondays. I'm not creative enough to come up with more questions on my own so I'm really glad that you guys are helping me. Thanks! BTW I'm using the questions mostly in order that I got them from you guys. Today I have another question from Becca's mind! (thanks becca!)

What do you believe happens after you die? Reincarnation? Heaven/Hell? Nothing? or something else?

I hope you guys will share your views on this subject cause I really wanna know what you guys think! If you "talk" (as in comment) to Becca, be sure to thank her for the questions! (and Steph as well!)
