Wednesday-Do you have a fortress?

Hey! Sorry yesterday's post was so short but I had the mechanical baby and it was going crazy and stuff. Today I'm posting a section from my Living Faith for Kids booklet.

"Be my rock of refuge, a stronghold to give me safety. You are my rock and my fortress; for your name's sake you will...guide me." Psalm 31:3-4

Do you have a fortress? Maybe you have a tree house in the backyard. Maybe you like to build forts by covering chairs with sheets. Wherever and however you find a safe place, that is your fortress.
For the psalmist (and for us too), God is a fortress of safety. No matter where we are or what we do, God is watching over us, ready to lead us on. Isn't that a great feeling?
Thanks, God, for always being there.

wow, i love going out in nature. i found a brook near my friend's house! it's soooooo cool. I wish it was near my house cause i would go there everyday. the only problem is to get there you have to go through the forest, and there are tons of piles of crap everywhere. haha but it's fun!

I love being by water too, but trees are my favorite there's nothing compared to the feeling of being really high up and having the wind blow in your face.

I luv to be alone in a dark small room. It helps me to clear my mind and to really be myself where no one can see me ;)Everyone should take time to lock themselves in a dark room. You can really see clearly in the dark.

I like to go on the boat with mu dad when he is checking his lobster traps. The cool air is crisp and salty.

I love to walk through the market place in Leon near my home. there are so many colorful friuts and stands that you cannot help but smile. With all of the people and music I am always able to calm down and think about whatever I want. Plus I get to go shopping while I do it all!!
